I've seen requesters do this if you miss an AC. They redirect you to a message like that and give you the opportunity to return it instead of letting you finish it, submit, and then reject you for missing the AC. I don't know if that's the case with the survey you're doing, but that's how some requesters set up HITs.

There weren't any ACs, it was all opinions and degrees of feeling one way or the other.

Hmm, I'd return it and then email the requester. It sounds like something about the way you responded triggered something that made them think you answered incorrectly, inconsistently, etc. I'd be afraid submitting it would be an automatic rejection.

Usually with theirs, no. But, they mostly give out no retake quals.

They had a different batch up this morning. I emailed and asked if we could do more than one. No response. I can't remember what the batch was this morning, but I do know it was different than this one. I can't remember because it was like this morning which was a long time ago.
