I don't give a fuck what they estimate. I told them $1 for 20 minutes of work is unacceptable and disrespectful to workers. I also said that once a survey takes longer than expected, a worker might try to rush through the rest of the survey and give the researcher bad data. I ended it by telling them they need to think about what's more important: good data, or paying less for bad data.
