The way I look at it, the more people that are willing to work surveys for lower incentives, the more it validates them lowering those further.

From a surveyors point of view, you want to pay less for the same result.

If people stuck to their guns and refused low wage per minutes, it would be effective in keeping the incentives decent.

But that's not realistic, because there's always someone willing to do it, even for as little as a sweepstakes entry (which may not even be real!)

Oh, I'm all for not doing things for crap wages, but not all surveys really suck. (But don't tell anyone I said that.)

Not sure if this already exists or not, but I made a script today that redirects to queue view when a HIT that you're working on in your queue expires. You'll then get redirected to the first HIT in your queue that meets a minimum time available requirement if there are any. The main thing is that it prevents the super annoying chain reaction from expired HITs that get loaded again even though they are expired.
