I don't skim the whole survey, but when I'm taken to a page with a HUGE block of text and multiple choice answers, the first thing I do is start looking for an attention check. It's an ingrained habit. And it's 100% true, imo. I've never read a huge paragraph that WASN'T an attention check.

I don't really get the uproar about this, if you're checking for an AC but then going back to re-read after you find out it's not, does it really matter?

Pretty sure @Jaded summarized all my points nicely. I don't care what ya'll do with your HITs. I was just trying to say that it isn't in good taste to discuss it openly like that on the forum where requesters can see it. End of discussion (sorry mods.)
