Oh no... we gotta have summers off for wheat harvest in June. We get out early May, and don't go back until mid August.

That way fields are worked in May/June...harvest in June... fields worked... planted with corn/milo etc.... then whatever is harvested in autumn (and the wheat planted after that for June....) is easier/smaller... so it's fine that the kids are in school

We need a whole summer.... which is why year-round scheduling would never fly here
