My dad is a garage sale pro. I'm pretty sure that having our first child has been less expensive than a WoW subscription due to everything he finds a "haggles" for. Although his haggling is just asking politely, "Would you take (dollar amount) for this, this , and that?"

that's the way to do it. i always feel way too guilty to even try to haggle, but my ex would always start a very friendly conversation with the seller and then offhandedly throw in his offer just before we were ready to leave. it worked every single time.

I have done these before. He pays out, just be cautious he does reject. I have done about 50 of these in the past and 2 rejections for things I was sure were correct.
