I damn near clicked like on your post because of her first day of school. But then I read the second part. I don't like that. I'm so sorry you can't be there!

My kid is 12 and I still take him to every first day of school. I'll probably show up on his campus during his first day of college. I'll just dye my hair and wear a hat and sunglasses so he doesn't see me.

I try and do comments in like 75% of the fields at least, but have gotten mine approved without always filling all comment fields.

I always write in comments for two reasons.. one because I'd feel bad, and two because I always hope they'll give me a bonus or something for doing more work
