No, he died. But they did live in CA for some time with their daughter and grandkids (so it didn't just happen over night..........okay, that's me being bad!!

It did happen over night.....).

They were elderly and were a lovely couple. I learned most of what I know from her (my mom can't cook, sew, knit - she hated all of that. She's a bit of an odd duck and would get overwhelmed by these things. SIGH).

My neighbor taught me everything - and if she didn't teach it to me IRL, she taught it by example. I was very fond of them and they lived long and good lives . I think of them often:heart:
