I remember reading a few years ago about how some archaeologists dug up a well-preserved ancient Egyptian pot of honey that was still edible. I had no idea it lasted that long.

from what i was always told about honey, as long as you dont like stick something dirty in it, it will last pretty much forever. i know i have some Honduran honey my mother brought me like...god...15+ years ago (massive like GALLON container) when she was on active duty and its still as amazing now as it was when i first got it.
