Does anyone know what's going on with the transcription software folks are using? I'm spending over an hour on a less than 10 minute transcription which should take me less than 45 minutes to do and I'm not done with it yet. The phone side of these conversations seems to be messed up, like missing words or whatever. What kind of transcription software are they running this stuff through before they put it up on mturk?

Which requester are you talking about? A ten minute transcription should take about 30 minutes or less. They better be paying very well for what you're doing.
