so...how far do you live from colo? haha thanks. I forgot, one of my goals was not to worry about how people thought of my house or whatever other million things, but to be someone who can make people feel better about themselves by being someone people will easily come out ahead of when comparing themselves to me. something like that.

Yeah, I love my girl, to be fair she's a pit mix, and to be fair she doesn't get along with other dogs very well, but she's so sweet and protective of all her human friends.

This is her soon after a bath, she was rather disappointed about the quality of her treatment that evening and refused to make eye contact for a very long time. By the way, we don't use that chain collar when we walk her either, we use a harness, but she gets all out of sorts when we take it off of her. That's her bling, and she lets you know that she wants it back when it is removed. That involves a lot of pacing and whining on her part. You can't see it, but there's a little cat charm on one of the collar rings, because she loves kitties.

I'm an Okie, so I'm right next door! That does sound like the right goal, and good mindset to have. I never feel comfortable in museum-level clean houses, and tend to prefer the lived-in look myself. I've found that most people are the same. Screw the picky ones, their opinion doesn't count.
