I'm not so good with computer so I wouldn't take my advice.

But that's what worked for me.

You'll want to back up your stuff (hit db, hm) before doing that.

I don't use hitdb or hm, just TM.

I didn't know you could back it up and I didn't know it could just disappear without warning for no reason at all.

Click the little cog icon at the top right and at the bottom is the Back up> export or import options. For the future.

I've had that problem. So sorry. Now, when I backup tm, I put a copy in the cloud, just in case.

Will definitely do that now that I know how. Ugh. I don't understand how this could've happened. Nothing happened to my computer, nothing updated, nada. It was there one minute and gone the next.
