If you're looking to beat me up, go to the back of queue and wait your turn.

I've had guys who run the car shows call them a Camaro. It is almost like the your or you're problem.

You're def not insane :) Please don't feel pressured to make this decision either. Hopefully, since it's family, you guys can try and keep emotions out of it. Logically, it does not make the best fiscal sense for your family right now. I also agree that if you were able and willing to afford a $300/mo car payment right now, you would already have a 2nd vehicle.

There are MUCH more affordable solutions out there right now and this doesn't sound like one of them. Best of luck ... hope it goes well :)

I agree, horrible decision. Don't buy her car. That isn't a favor.

Just tell them you can't afford it, which honestly, it sounds like you can't.

He says he did tell them that, but somehow...they don't believe him? I dunno. They are pressuring him.

To me, if she were to STORE her vehicle she would have to pay a company to store it. So we are family, we would STORE it for less or in exchange for keeping the oil changed and x amount of miles on it (we wouldn't go anywhere crazy, like maybe 20 miles a week-- we are lame). THAT would be a favor. But US taking HER car is a favor to HER. Not the other way around.

My brain wants to explode.

how do i put a button in my signature? also my signature is up for sale.

Right click on that image, choose copy image address. Then go to your name at the top of the forum, go to signature, and copy the image there.

If you do it with any other button rather than MerryLou @MerryLou's, your computer is going to explode.

It sounds like his family isn't used to hearing no. Just stand firm.
And ignore the entire car issue.

Don't offer to "store" it or anything.

Try to find another option.
