I can assure you my speed is no issue, and I still do fine. When the worker pool quadruples and pretty much all of them get faster, even if your speed triples you will only be able to complete a small portion of what you could before. As far as adapting, yes, the adaptation has been to move from task to task more quickly, have a broader 'rolodex', and in general be sharper at choosing between hits. I am just commenting on the general landscape. It has gotten tougher.

The whole scripting arms race is a real double-edged sword. I use publicly available scripts too so I shouldn't throw stones but part of me longs for the days of 3-4 years ago.
