Stupid question....What is the point of keeping a balance in your Paypal account if when you buy something with Paypal and have your bank account linked, then they would just take it out of your bank account.... am I missing something?

You can set it so that it takes from your Paypal balance first and only uses your bank account as a fall back. Somewhere in the settings.

You keep a balance in your Paypal so you can donate money to mTurk Crowd. At least that is what I do when I sell stuff on the eBay.

i knew a guy who was a kicker some years ago. He told me that's all he did. He waited for a pro football team to need him when their regular kicker was injured or something. Said he made six figures per year and sat on the coastline or hung out on his boat in between phone calls. Cool job but probably short shelf life.

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you put "no transaction" "no date" or "too old" in Ibotta receipts, you are likely to get rejected. I had several rejected from them lately. Some of them were missing information or were too old and they were rejected. It goes against their instructions, but I guess you should return them if you can't do them in full.
