So that Wikipedia page says the mean is $72,641/year for a household. I guess that's closer to two people each earning $44k?
Not necessarily. Household can have any number of adults, but 2 is the most common.

Yes. I know. I was just saying that two adults earning about $44k (the number Peachy mentioned) is approximately going to be about $72k (the average income for a household according to Wikipedia).

Yeah, I read further in the Wikipedia page and found the mean number. I jumped the gun and copied the median number first. :)

Who knows where the requ got their number. I do know that my Social Security is way below the poverty line. In my mind, there are only 2 levels of income: enough and not enough

GREAT NEWS--the Dakota Pipeline has been delayed or will be rerouted , maybe for years... This might be old news, but "Democracy Now" is my first news show today

It doesn't....

Thus why I said "about" and "approximately" in an attempt to possibly sort of closely almost reconcile the average estimated numbers from Peachy's quote and the Wikipedia page.

But I think I'm done with this conversation now.
