I think Intel gets the nod from most folk because: 1.) it's the better known processor used in most computers by 'default,' and, 2.) it's the better known processor used in most computers by 'default.' I've an AMD in my 'puter and it does just fine. Unless one is a 'processor geek,' I don't think there is a demonstrable difference. Which do you prefer? A Chevy or a Ford?
I used AMD for years and do research before I buy stuff, I don't fall for the "popular" choice. While your AMD does just fine, and Intel would more than likely do better at the same price point.

The old fix doesn't work anymore. You have to export your Database, look at it and delete duplicate entries and then import the database.
when i export the database, what program can i use to edit it? the .bak file

"Do better" to a significant - 'significant' to the user, of course -- degree?

For the AWS, would you consider a private school a company?

I would rather have whatever runs my CAD programs and other graphics related software the best. So.. I don't know. I can't find any reviews that rate the performance differences of the big two in comparison when running these programs. I need some decent processing power when rendering and performing boolean tasks.

Its performance difference would depend on what task you are asking of it. AMD power draw is much higher than its Intel counterparts, while on a desktop it would only really cause more noise and heat, it will kill your battery much faster on a laptop. For gaming AMD is going to have a negative effect on your FPS, probably in the 20+ range. AMD has more cores but those cores are slow, and unless you are actually running something that will be using all 8, the 4 cores that are faster is going to process much quicker.

We're just some guys on an mturk forum. Youtube and the subreddit buildapc are your friends for more opinions/benchmarks on the matter. Also tomshardware.

I read about it on reddit too, I appreciate everyone's input though. I can also build another PC but starting an argument on mTurk crowd without getting softbanned is a once in a lifetime thing.
