Serious question. How profitable has Mturk been for you guys the last six months as compared to the first half of this year?

I started getting more serious about Mturk in the beginning of September. At some point today, I will reach $2000 earned.

Made more the second half but I have been working more.

its has been down for me for sure... Whether it is my quals or whatever I haven't been making much on turk.

In all seriousness, the struggle does seem to have become more real, but for randomness or days where the music, coffee, and hits line up perfectly. Closed quals saved the day, more often than not. Even this summer was a bigger money rush than the fall, which was incredibly unusual.

I don't know about this, with a gun to your head the concept of free will is basically nil because your survival instincts take over and you'd do anything not to get killed. You're still making a choice but it's a highly restricted choice.

It's like when a survey has writing, in theory I could complete it, but in practice I have little choice but to return it and set my computer on fire.
