My SIL makes candied pecans every year and puts them in mason jars. Soooo good.

edit: This is not a useful tip for people that don't have pecan trees.

One time I made a bunch of maple bacon peanut popcorn and.... forgot.... to wrap it up for others. Food gift is dangerous gift.

If you go to Pinterest and search for keywords like "food gifts", you get tons of super awesome ideas for gifts in jars like that. I particularly like the melted snowman hot chocolate jars.

You could always send them a card saying something like " I donated $100 to needy children in your behalf", and then a certificate or something. Those are great because not only do they get nothing, you get to feel superior about it. No one will ever ask you for gifts again.

I would, but part of the problem is the last person I have left to buy for is the boyfriend... Because he didn't give me ideas for what he wanted til a week ago. Thanks for the advice, Your Holiness. I'll probably do that for my dad's girlfriend if she ends up sticking around.
