It doesn't. A lot of them have to be reminded, and even then, they'll continue to do it themselves. That's how its' *extremely* easy to spot anyone from out of state. lol

People from out of state get really weirdly mad about not being able to pump their own gas. But what they don't realize is that it really does create jobs for people that can't do other things for whatever reason.

And, you can be arrested in NJ for pumping your own gas.... and if you wanna turn left at the next intersection you'd best get into the farthest right-hand lane!

not always. you can make lefts at several places.
but on the highways, yea, they use a lot of jug handles.
there are also some left exits instead of right exits,
such as right after you enter jersey, from PA, on route 1 N.

they are working to remove the traffic circles, though
which is a good thing,
since their law regarding usage of the circle is opposite the surrounding states
in NJ, when in a traffic circle, you yield to INCOMING traffic
in the nearby states, you yield to traffic already within the circle
it just makes sense to clear the circle out instead of filling it up.
brooklawn circle, outside of westville, just across the Walt Whitman bridge,
is being converted to a regular fourway intesection.
