Acting crazy today.
Keeps breaking and then they pull the batch....just to fix it and reload it 2 minutes later.

I've only been using them to clear captchas today.

Remember Tripat Gill, the guy who blocked me last night even though I had done his last hit successfully? I sent a PM promiising never to work for him again, and he replied he's blocking anyone who did a similar hit of his before, not because I had messed up.

We had 2 opinions of blocks here: that it's really bad for your MT score, and that it doesn't matter. What path should I pursue on this?

I personally would drop it and try to avoid more blocks in the future.

Who ever said it doesn't matter is an idiot or uninformed. Tell him to unblock and assign a qual to prevent retakes.

I read somewhere that blocks for preventing past workers is actually encouraged by mturk to requesters, and that you wont get suspended.

How can you avoid a requester who blocks like that though? LoL Unless whoever gets blocked then adds a review to his TO.

Mturk has specifically told us that a block for retaking surveys is a good thing for requesters.

It does nothing to your account.

All blocks are negated if they do not have a comment on it. Mturk won't even look at it.

I realized this when a lot of Japanese requesters had me blocked(I do a lot of surveys)

And for some reason they love using it instead of putting a qual.

I contacted support, they said that it doesn't harm your account at all.
