r/mturk is the reason I decided not to even bother trying when I first signed up

I started with /r/hitsworthturkingfor

Made a decent 5-7 every day from that.

It's actually the first website I visit in the morning just pick up what I missed.

I come here for batches, and learning what's on the up and up.

Do people shout out 'QUALS' when a special closed qual shows up or something? Cuz I need something for that

My mental image of the average turker is a mid 30's mom with a glass of wine, a toddler on her knee, and constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY rolling her eyes. Like it's an unstoppable tick. Just sighing and rolling her eyes.

reminds me of the pbs story they did a few years ago, they wanted to talk to full time turkers . they interviewed a ton of us , ended up doing the story on a lady that made 14 dollars a day while singing to her cats or some stupid shit.

Yeah I hit up hwtf too and usually scrape up a few hits there throughout the day. Discovered that place the second time I looked into turking and realized the potential.
