'Facts' from the article:
Most turkers are from India
75% of turkers are women
The average income for turkers is $100 per month.
r/mturk is the reason I decided not to even bother trying when I first signed upEver go to /r/mturk and just... cry?
"I make 10 dollars a day" "Whoa dude that's incredible"

My mental image of the average turker is a mid 30's mom with a glass of wine, a toddler on her knee, and constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY rolling her eyes. Like it's an unstoppable tick. Just sighing and rolling her eyes. There was an article about Mturk a few days back on TechCrunch. I was getting pissed while reading it.

reminds me of the pbs story they did a few years ago, they wanted to talk to full time turkers . they interviewed a ton of us , ended up doing the story on a lady that made 14 dollars a day while singing to her cats or some stupid shit. There was an article about Mturk a few days back on TechCrunch. And you max out every day.I only do surveys.
If you're towards the end of it you could message the requester about it.One of my hits has me just sitting on a qualtrics page that says "Storing Data" and it's not moving anywhere.
Guess that's $2 lost. Don't really wanna sit here and wait for it to not do anything.
More likeIf an mTurker were an animal, they would be a flamingo.
Yeah I hit up hwtf too and usually scrape up a few hits there throughout the day. Discovered that place the second time I looked into turking and realized the potential.I started with /r/hitsworthturkingfor
Made a decent 5-7 every day from that.
