Huh. Got a rejection today on a that Eating Related Attitudes and Behaviors survey. Not sure why. I know for SURE that I was paying attention to all the attention checks. I remember that survey specifically because it was so long and I wanted to make sure they didn't trick me somewhere.

Hopefully they get back to me. I like having 0 rejections.
They rejected me as well and didn't state a reason. I know I didn't do anything wrong either. Sent them a message but I don't expect to hear back based on their to

For you peeps in college don't forget to sell textbooks.

Had $300 worth just sitting here that I completely forgot about. Helps on days like today.

Sold mine and I got $18 for them lol. But better than nothing.
Did you sell them back to the bookstore? Most of them will give you next to nothing for them. So lame.

I usually do mine on half.com (basically just ebay for books). They're pretty fair about prices and I'll always sell mine a little on the lower end to almost guarantee a quick sale. Some go for $100-$200 a piece haha I love the american educational system

Not bad really because I've been sitting here watching the Rose Parade with the kid and drinking coffee. I like getting paid while watching tv on a holiday.

Today's Projected Earnings: $3.03 (Exported from Mturk Suite v1.0.1)

Good advice! You can also sell normal books at many local bookstores for quick cash. Different places like different things, and you can actually turn around some cheap thrift store purchases into decent money. (AKA How I survived 2010, when I didn't know mturk was a thing.)

Good morning/afternoon, you beautiful people and fellow miscreants! Darkness gave way to a beautiful, rainy sunrise this morning and a whole new year for us all. May it provide everyone with enough joy, health, wealth, and happiness to get through.

Speaking of wealth...I really need the day to pickup so that I'm not so tempted to put on real pants and shoes to go check out the Bath & Bodyworks Megasale I just found out about while looking to replace my cinnamon and clove Wallflowers oil*...

*Minky not an agent of B&BW, just incredibly addicted to certain scents/oils.

except for when you have a class that has a "reader" which is just a stack of un-numbered articles that they charge $80 for and is non refundable and non returnable
wow... never happened to me. I'm just used to paying 400 bucks for a text book, then getting 150 dollars back for it later and smiling like I just robbed a bank.

The last time the kid and I took our books to the bookstore we received just over $100 in credit. We wanted more books so we didn't take the cash, but holy cow that was a windfall for us!

I know what books sell best now and have actually been thinking about checking thrift stores and yard sales for them on and off for some extra revenue!

I really need a script that tells me how many hits I've accepted during the current amazon day. something like the mmmturkeybacon projected earnings for the day script. something stand alone like that, that I can turn on when I'm doing batches that might have a lot of returns. I could spend my time better and maximize earnings more if I had that.
