Aw, I'm sorry. I'm glad you were able to rescue Lily, though! Does the shelter/foster post pics on social media or anything? Maybe sharing them will help one of your friends decide to rescue one/some of them?

I am seriously hoping that I can actually achieve my dream of having a few acres one day, so I can just open my own animal rescue. One where I probably end up keeping most/all of the animals and loving them forever..

Yes, I am so glad we were able to rescue Lily at least! She was found by a rescue volunteer on the streets at 3 months old so we know nothing of her parents/history and we adopted her just before she turned 4 months old. She's a very high energy puppy, and the friendliest dog I've ever seen. She's doing great now and is being spoiled and loving all of the attention.

They do have social media and I have been sharing their Petfinder profiles and asking around to try to find them homes, but unfortunately they're pit bulls/pit mixes so sadly it seems like people just don't want to adopt them. :'( They are such sweet dogs though, very calm and laid back. Our favorites are Karma, Savannah, and Banjo:

That is an awesome goal/dream! The animal rescue here is great. I'm thinking about at least trying to volunteer for them to help out a little.

mTurk Withdrawal to Bank Question
Does anyone else withdraw their funds on Friday from Amazon, but it doesn't deposit into your bank on Saturday? It does on Monday.
I withdraw from mTurk everyday, but it wasn't until 1 or 2 weeks ago that I realized Friday withdrawals no longer deposit on Saturday morning.
I withdraw my payout pretty early (3 am - 7 am) so it has enough time to process for next-day deposit.
Is this just me or is this happening to everyone? Or maybe it's my bank.

Cardinal Ratzinger, aka Pope Benedict, the pope just before Francis. He resigned purportedly due to bad health but there had to be some other reason. We'll likely never know.

I'm not sure I've ever had funds withdrawn on a Friday that deposited on Saturday morning and I've been doing this a long time. It's bank rules that determine deposits. ACH transfers can be temperamental. Generally, an ACH transfer occurs 2x per day but if the transfer happens after a standard processing time at the recipient end then all one can do is wait. Nothing can force a process to complete when it comes to ACH and bank processing. I expect my transfers to behave as any standard bank transfer. Anything moved on Friday won't necessarily show until Monday because the weekend does not contain regular business days.

I bank with Regions and have never had my funds arrive on Sat or Sun. Usually Thursday is the last transfer I can make that will hit my bank the next day. Then I don't transfer again until Sunday, but Sun-Thurs I transfer everyday. I do think it has something to do with your bank and the way it communicates with Amazon. Hope this helps...

When the federal reserve is open effects this process too. That is why no transactions go through on holidays, because the federal reserve is closed.
