At least she didn't ask "Is your computer turned on?"

That is an important question though, and you'd be surprised how often the answer is "no". This also applies to televisions, cable boxes, satellite receivers, cell phones, etc. Was always a quick call, and hilarious when they got mad at you because they had their device off/unplugged. (I've worked a lot of call centers.)

Also, shout-out to old folks who "mash the button" on their remotes/phones and always made me giggle, and folks who insisted I help them with tech issues WHILE ON THE DEVICE having the issue.

And now I ask myself why I'm considering going back to AT&T..
