Sorry to hear that. They don't take anybody with so much as a hangnail.

It sucks too because I was wanting to make it my career and retire from the military. Made the decision shortly after high school and worked my tail off to lose 80lbs and get in shape so I could survive boot camp. Went in and talked to a guy, got a nearly perfect score on the ASVAB, they offered me all kinds of crazy bonuses and stuff, and then starting jumping through hoops to get me to sign... I went to MEPs and it was there I was told that they found abnormal cells and long story short I was diagnosed ovarian and cervical cancer. Military dreams shot all to hell... Now I have a degree in elementary education, but I turk for a living. Go figure... life it so weird sometimes and hardly ever turns out as we planned it!
