I accidentally had a CRCV (the broken batch) hit in my queue from earlier. So I returned it. Now I can't do anything in the entire mTurk site. Just keeps giving me the "Your session has expired" message no matter what I do or what link I click. The hell
are you logged out?

My oldest just started his 2nd year in the Air Force. Left this morning to head back to Kansas after being home for 3 weeks. It's always tough to see him leave but man am I proud of him and how much he is growing up. I have the utmost respect and commend anyone who serves, and believe me, it was a very difficult road to get him there, after doing stupid things to potentially get him kicked out before he ever even left for basic, but thankfully his recruiter is an amazing man who jumped through hoops to keep him there. Best decision he ever made.
He will like the Air Force, I should have gone in that direction. I would have stayed in the Navy, but I just got tired of living on a ship in the middle of the Ocean for months at a time, if it had not been a big old carrier, I might have gone nuts.

Ya that does suck. Big time. :(

Not unusual for the top 5% of scorers on the ASVAB to be offered work in military INTEL, then from there to NSA. That would have been an interesting career. Well, gosh darn, that is too bad. :(

I wasn't. Now it won't let me sign in, sign out or anything. Just keeps re-directing to that same screen
Seems stupid but clear cache and restart your comp... I got that once a loooooong time ago (not sure if it was because of the same hit or not), but that's how I fixed it. Good luck!

They were sticklers for any medical problems, but not behavior problems. When I went in the Navy in 1983, Quite a few in my division were given the choice of Jail or the Navy. They all turned out to be pretty good guys though.
I knew someone who never admitted what happened but he went into the Army about a year after he graduated from high school. And no one could understand why. After he left his family found a bomb making recipe he put in Guns and Ammo mag selling it and it was verified by someone checking the mag. His family found money from Germany and I don't know where all in his room after he left. Checks. This was right before the first bombing of the World Trade Center. I always figured he was offered prison or military. He took military. Thing is now he works for DOD. Go figure.

That's the route I was trying to go. I really wanted to follow in my grandfather's foot steps. He was a cryptologist (sp?) in the Air Force and worked in the White House. Literally only one person between him and the President and as soon as he decoded stuff he'd hand it to that person and it would go directly to the President. He had some cool stories and that would have been an amazingly cool life! Apparently God has other plans for me though :)

People change over their lifetime and sometimes the military can shape them up. When I was 18, I had to be the singe dumbest person on the face of the Earth, if you would meet me now at 52 , I have been told I'm not that bad of a guy.

I didn't think it was in the manual to trust bomb makers one didn't control. If ever they are trusted.

Oh, come on ,lets all admit it, everyone has made at least one bomb in their lifetime. some of them were just not very powerful.

I used to booby trap the hell out of my brother's room. Back in the 70s toys weren't vetted really well and it was easy to make "spring loaded bombs" full of Legos, Hotwheels and marbles.
