yeah fibro is still often treated like "hysteria' by a lot of doctors because it's hard to diagnose. You basically have to rule out everything else and then figure it out so even though I was in treatement for the symptoms for years, my official diagnosis wasn't until 2015.I am glad that I do live in a medical state. I have been through the chemical dependency part of withdraws with various meds and it sucks. it really changed my outlook on addicts to be honest. my doctors have mentioned the possibility of fibro too, but no one seems to want to say for sure. and of course my insurance does not cover most specialists.
