What kinds of things do you use HitMonitor for? I haven't really found a good use for it yet. PC + HF together do pretty much all I need (as far as I know).
hitmonitor is sort of like the include list for hitscraper (finder, whatever.) It'll scan the page for anything in your list and alert you (sound, text, pop up box, whatever) when they post.

Hit monitor can be used while logged out so doesn't count against your PRE rate

Hit monitor was created before PC and HF were made. It is used to keep track of an unlimited amount of your favorite requesters with only one Page request. It can be used logged out so it won't affect other page requests.

Seems like too much work for 42 cents, I threw it back. Sorry for anyone I suckered into it.

Just found out there seems to be different kinds of mturk Hit DB. I have installed - MTurk HIT Database Mk.II // author - feihtality

Is this the one you all are using? or is there something else to install?

Thanks guys! :)

Oh...
I don't have any of those...
If HF/PC work fine for you use those, it's a preferences(, yo) thing. To me HM is good for when you get up and wander off because the alert noise is absolutely horrid.

Ehh I'd kind of disagree cause I think they serve different functions. Yeah, you can have PC searching for posts from a certain requester, but that's going to up your page requests/slow down your other pandas. HM lets you know when certain requesters post without any of that.
