So Grandpa died this afternoon and I just got alert on my phone that we have to evacuate our home due to a wildfire that is less than 2 miles from the town I live in Hutchinson, KS.

Yep, my uncle lives out in the highlands north of town and his neighbor's shed is gone...we turned on all of the sprinklers around our house (thankfully we have a well) and we're waiting on a word on the safest route to safety
