I like them too. Honestly, I jump on every qual I can, you never know what's going to be good and what isn't. Might as well get as many as you can.

Pretty sure it depends on the state/plan as far as 529 plans go. From what I've seen here, I can start them with a minimum balance whether or not I'm pregnant or have brought a child into the world. It's just any money that was in it that didn't go to a beneficiary for educational purposes could be subject to penalties if I withdraw it.A 529 plan is a great idea. The earlier you start the better! (Can you start them for someone who isn't born yet? Or do you have to start it for a born person then transfer it over to your kid(s) when they arrive?) My son's 529 won't pay for all 4 years of college, but if he does it right he can get out of a four year school with very minimal or no loan debt. He will have to work a little bit, but that will be good for him. I still have five more years before he goes to college so I'm hoping it increases a lot more in that time! Mturk is what helps me pay for those braces and the savings.
and lol about the ortho. One year I wasn't allowed to go trick or treating because I refused to open my mouth for my dentist. I got punished, couldn't trick or treat, then one morning mom told me to swallow two little red pills with my breakfast. She had to carry me in to the dentist's office that day
they're definitely different and more like a game then actually surveys or anything, and every once in a while they actually pay really well, but more often than not they hover in the hour of your time for frustration and $9ish dollars
