and it was still $2800?It was two teeth so I can see how the costs kind of jumped. The procedure itself was around 70% covered after a $350 deductible. Two crowns were the major cost. That was only around 35% covered.
I think my issue is more with my employer choosing a really good health plan and a crap dental plan.and it was still $2800?

I got a PPO plan and its like 30 something dollars. they cover 50-75 percent of the cost of surgeries. Of course I haven't used it and dont know how expensive sergeries are, so @loki3404 definitely knows more about the process than me.how much of the root canal did insurance cover? i'm looking at what it covers "cosmetically" i.e - chipped teeth, bonding, etc... and it looks like a lot of dental insurances don't cover anything cosmetically. so bleh
and it was still $2800?

Dental insurance will only cover so much, no matter which company you get.
