Those Rockets are about to get blasted outta the sky by lightning and a little THUUUUUUUUUNDEEERRRRR!

There's some rotation, and the crazy pressure changes are making my head spin and ache, but it seems to just be a frog strangler more than anything. There are some wicked wind gusts, though! Reports of 70-75mph are popping up. That explains why the rain was moving up and spinning! Power-lines are going down all over the state (so if I disappear, you'll know why lol) and there have been emergency vehicle sirens for the last 20 minutes straight. I think the flash floods are causing more trouble than anything.

That's pretty nutty. I've probably been a part of at least 75% of all the major hurricanes that've struck the US in the past 25 years, but none of that holds any water to what I experienced in OKC.

May 3rd tornado strafing around a mere block away from me, leaving behind ruin as if something huge dug their finger into the earth and swirled it around all willy nilly. A gas station nearby even exploded. When it was all over, our backyard was completely littered with debris. A lot of it appeared to be sentimental items, little bits of broken jewelry and a whole bunch of family photos.

Okie weather can get pretty wild! Looks like we might have one heck of a season this year.

That had to be pretty terrifying, to have been so closed to the May '99 storm! That and the May 2013 were probably our worst ever in modern times. I'm glad y'all were okay and just had debris. And yeah, that "Finger of God" look after a bad one is unsettling as hell.

PS-Sorry about the late replies, trying to man the radar in one tab, #okwx alerts on twitter in another, texts with family/friends, and get some work done before timers expire (and in case the power goes out, which I really hope it doesn't).

Edit: Clarified that sirens were "whoowhoo" emergency vehicles and not "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" run for your life tornado sirens.
