We were just talking about that the other day because my husband works for a large tech company in one of the North burbs and it hasn't made it there yet. I get that it's not ATL proper, but several large companies have offices/HQ in cities OTP.

Yeah I do feel like it will make it up to like Gwinnett/Alpharetta eventually but it will probably be a while. There's some near me in Cobb but it's still just random little spots. I've heard their plan was to buy fiber off of other companies where they can instead of doing all the digging to lay new fiber but the other companies are being difficult about it so expansion has been really slow.

Missed opportunity for them with the new development off of Old Milton (Avalon) as they have some other fiber-like internet service for the businesses/condos/houses. It's still the south, so sometimes the pace for change is rather slow anyway. I'd also like a MARTA station further North than Sandy Springs, but politics, so no go.

I feel so fancy I had a dedicated phone line for my internet. My multi day video downloads went uninterrupted.
