In my head I know this is to prevent giving away potential information about the HIT, but the cynical part of me wonders if this is the same sort of rule that employers have about not discussing your salary with other employees so people don't realize how badly they're being stiffed.

I can't eat pb and s anymore. One month the food bank gave out huge jars of pb and literal jugs of syrup and we ended up eating so much of it that it makes me sick even now like 12 years later. (It's why I won't eat smooth pb anymore either.)

That's the same reason we had them for the first time, pretty much. (And also why I've not had one in adulthood.)

This is why I can't eat govt cheese or drink powdered milk

Funny thing is, I found out that government cheese is the reason why I have a preference for colby over cheddar. Stumbled across an article about it once and it turns out that it was like a mega-lump that was mostly colby. Fuck that powdered milk noise, though! (But powdered eggs are tasty.)
