Those HITs really don't take that long; idk what they person was doing. Like 35-40 min max. They're definitely underpaid, but still "okay" if it's slow and there's nothing else to do.

Just speculation, but I don't think they have gold questions setup aside from the examples they give in the preview.

While I get what you're saying. We are not the only country doing this. That may be fantastic pay for a worker in india. etc etc. Be aware of that.

Is that really fantastic pay in India (and all non-us) or is it just the only thing they have available? I think there's a big difference there. 2.50/hr is not fantastic for anyone. (But I do get what you meant. If i had no option and was hungry or whatnot I'd probably work for 2.50/hr too.)
