The sky here in St. Louis is overcast with a touch of sunshine, the trees are in full bloom in the courtyard stirred only by a slight breeze, and a pleasant warmth has settled that hasn't visited in a while. Birds are celebrating as much as I am in response. If you get a chance to simply enjoy a moment like that, take it.

This description made me feel like I was there again, and I could smell the dogwoods and Mississippi River mixing in the air for a moment. Sounds like a great day to head to Forest Park or Laumeier!

Eh, he probably would have been look at as a bigoted asshole back then as well. Either or. I can appreciate the style without liking the guy. I think that the stuff that most people consider "Lovecraftian" wasn't even created by him, but by August Derleth, or one of the other writers/collaborators.

Still a great show. Love the proverbs at the end of the episodes - "Look to the north. Keep looking. There’s nothing coming from the south."
