Oh hey, I have a JadedStory that relates to this!

When I was 14 our house took us to New Mexico to ski. I was on the bunny slope where they train all the kids and first they were teaching us how to stop, but I wasn't good at that, and so I accidentally turned and crashed into a gosh damned ice castle and my skis got lodged into the bottom and I fell over backwards and stretched some ligament in my knee and almost had to have surgery.

It was awful but the guy who got me unstuck was hot.
