I had brought these 2 yeas ago. They broke on me.

The only problem with open headphones is you can't really take them out in public without seeming like a huge tool because everyone can hear your music.
(I have 558s but I switched to Audio Technica's ESW9A wooden cover ones a couple of years ago)

I'd say the HD 558 or HD 598 are your best bets. They're super comfortable and great without breaking the bank. From what I hear, you can mod the HD 558 into the 598 yourself relatively easy if you wanted to as well,
Best Buy has the 558 for a pretty decent price (and it comes with 3 free months of Tidal music if that matters at all to you)
