It's not easy to get into mturk, these days. Messages like that seem to be very common. If I had to guess, I'd think Amazon realizes they're kinda at capacity, so they're being super picky with who they let in.
My mom got rejected last year, too. I wish we knew what "criteria" they were using - she said when she applied all they asked for was name, e-mail, address, and phone number?

why do they put so little applesauce in these cups?

It's the man I tell ya
I have to agree.
I have never heard of "enough applesauce"
Why are you eating applesauce out of the cups? You get much more applesauce for your money if you buy it in the big jar size.
oh wait... that's what I was talking about..

i've suggested this to several friends over the last few months or so, every one of them has been denied.
I wonder if demographics play a part. Like something as simple as location, if Amazon feels that that area is already over-represented on mturk. They want requesters to be able to come to mturk to have work done, no matter which demographic they're looking for. Maybe they're just favoring the less-represented demos now.

I've always wondered if that played into how they choose masters, as well. All we can do is speculate, I guess.

I don't think we will ever get concrete answers. But if I ever meet Bezos, I'll use any means necessary to get them for us.

I've never bought one of those but they make me feel gross. Like it would be like drinking applesauce and something about that is just wrong.
They also have mold grow in them sometimes.

Hi guys.

Question. Has anyone else taken part in the Risk Lab study? It's the one where they pay you in Amazon gift cards. I want to confirm with someone regarding the payment for yesterday's final assessment.
I did, you can pm me, but I got paid already.
