I love them, too. But nothing is as bad as having thousands of books to move. I'm at the point where the less I have the better (in life!). I just want everything on a kindle :)
This. I sold several hundred before a cross country move a few years back. Down to about 250 hardback favorites and another 150 or so art books which are my weakness. Everything but art goes on the Kindle now. Edit edit edit.

Extreme boredom on flights and ships caused me to read thousands and thousands of books over the years, having them all on one device was a godsend when the first sony readers came out

I buy both. I've been leaning more towards the kindle versions because they are all in one place instead of all over the floor. But it just depends on how much money I have vs how many books I want
I have a kindle, i have a surface tablet...they sit in a corner and watch as i put real books onto my shelves.

But for seriously, i cannot read a book on any e-reader. Just doesn't feel right and doesn't let me get into the story.

The Stand is in my 10 ten fave books.

I'm using the coupon it'll save me $3. I'm just waffling on whether I wanna buy them now or not.

the other good thing about readers is that you don't need a light to read them. You can twist around, hang upside down half off the bed without blocking the light.

Getting eleventy paper cuts...

probably just me tho :bag:
They are worth it. I dont mess up the spines of my book folding over pages and such, but my BF does. He prefers physical books also, he really loves and destroys the books. I always tell him he is "making love" to the story. The book is a mess when he is done.
