after having lived the corporate life... would you ever go back? you're still a young guy in the grand scheme of things

It's a bit of a difficult question. I tried to fit in that kind of lifestyle for many years, but invariably I always found myself unable to cope with the monotony of the office culture. Or more accurately, I didn't allow myself to be jerked around. People were either timid or predatory to the nth degree, and it disgusted me. I probably lasted as long as I did because I had a good supervisor backing me (until he threw the entire dept under the bus.)

I plan on making my own way from here on out, and despite all the black humor I'm a lot happier than I was before.

Some folks don't care for my nonsense and have told me in no uncertain terms to leave them alone.

I've been amused a couple of times when I've found out someone dislikes me on forums. I'm a pretty bland forum presence, and I thought it was very funny that they couldn't find someone more interesting to dislike.
