Me too!

From what I was reading in my search results the night we spoke about it last, you should be able to get the card through your regular doctor, the one that does your prescriptions and such. I could be wrong, but it seemed like they would be able to do the proper permissions and such that get that underway. You might try talking to your doc and seeing what can be done.
I talked to my regular doctor... she only believes in prescribing it for extreme pain, cancer, basically end of life stuff when nothing else works. She prefers that I take Ativan instead. Which does help... but not as well. I'm going to need to find a separate doctor to prescribe this and have no clue how to pick a "weed doctor" lol

So do I just pick any random doctor that prescribes it? (preferrably the cheapest)? Here they have a list of qualifying conditions, I believe I meet two of them and my husband definitely qualifies. They just legalized it for medicinal in Nov... should I wait a little longer? I'm clueless about this and not sure what info to believe on the internet on this topic. Plus I don't want to get in trouble...
I'm not familiar with it in florida but it seems similar to how it is in california. Here you could just tell em random stuff like I can't sleep and qualify 'cause really the money is the qualifying factor. I'm sure you can look up reviews for the doctor too and see how lenient they are. The more lenient ones will be talked about and possibly might cost more but you'll pretty much for sure get a card

I dunno how it is in FL but in NV it was literally you go to the doc.. One time they had a special for like $75 visit and there were like 500 people in line. They ask you like two questions and sign some papers and your good. Its pretty much a $$ gold mine for the state and whoever else to cash in. They don't do any thorough checks or do any background research on your symptoms etc..

Well that makes it easy. I was worried about having to gather my medical documents to prove that I meet the requirements. Once my hubby gets employed it is soooooo on! Sadly we can't afford the extra cost to get the card yet.

Are the cards just per state? Or do they work in any state where it is legal?

I have never been to a weed convention but have always wanted to go. I kept my habit very private for years. There are still people that don't know I smoke, y'all are the only one's I'm really open about it with.

Idk if states have reciprocity for weed cards like they do ccw's that's something to look into but i doubt it.
And yeah its super easy. the faster they get you in and out the more money they make

From my understanding you can use it in other states but only ones that accept out of state cards

"Hey, I know you suffer from crippling anxiety and stuff, but instead of giving you access to this natural plant where the most common side effects are laughter and eating a whole bag of chips, I'm going to give you this complicated psychotropic pill that will make you exhausted, forgetful, and unable to sleep well. I feel like adding on to the list of things you deal with will really help you pull through this."--Doctor logic (psssh)

I hope you are able to find a green doctor without breaking the bank, and soon. I understand that psychotropic meds help so many and weed isn't a cure-all, but I do think an adult should have the right to choose the option with less negative side effects.
