Then numerous older Black women (although I love them to pieces) I know say WallMark or Kmark (I think that's a southern thing)

But I really can't talk! Although I grew up here, I am very Jamaican with my speech sometimes!

My husband says woof for 'wolf' and it makes me laugh every damn time. Plural of 'wolf' becomes woofs/wooves. I'm laughing just typing it

He can get a larger pool of people if he doesn't pay. He could give the test to 100 for $1 each and hopefully get 3 people who pass, or give the test to 1,000 for free, and hopefully get 30 decent people.

I have suggested that he give a bonus for the people that do pass, but he never responded to that.

If we're doing an irl comparison; I've had to take assessments as part of job interviews plenty of times before. I was never compensated for my time.

I'm participating in a year long academic research thing IRL starting today. There's a PhD student in forensic entymology who is going to come put traps in my yard to catch bugs and research how long dead flesh has to be out to attract certain types of bugs and how bugs develop over time and in varying weather conditions on dead flesh. I'm excited!

That is pretty much what happens. After you get the qual, you spend time learning things that make the hits easier while doing the hits.
