I made about $1500 on mTurk this month. Way short of the large goal I set

but eh. Will add a few dollars to that total tonight, but otherwise will coast

I'm sorry you're dark and moody, though.

You can come watch the storm with me. I'm sitting in the dark with candles and feisty music, but I can put on something more chill. Also, it's all good. Just letting the dark and moody out with the storm to release it, which does cheer me up. Makes me feel like a weather witch or something. (What? I'm weird and proud of it!) I like it when the thunder rolls right as I'm exhaling, like it knows and responds to my fury.

If you want, you could have @aveline try and cheer you up.

I feel like @aveline and I have the same cheering techniques: angsty music, darkness, and laughing at the thunder's attempt to seem scary.

Also, fun Minky fact: That song was playing the moment I was in the wreck, and my teeth chatter now when I hear it. Oddly, I am now afraid of fireworks since the wreck. Think it's more related to the PTSD than the song, but it's funny to me.

I'm very cheerful.

I am too, 99.97% of the time. Like, too cheerful, to the point I feel high. I also get dark moody broods to balance it all out and like to dabble in casual nihilism brought on by existential crisis. (As you do.)

My favorite comfort movie used to be "The Royal Tenenbaums" and I watched it dozens of times. My husband was like, "Nothing to cheer you up like incest and suicide." But it always did.
