Not a great loss. Tags are supposed to be used to make the thread more searchable for people wanting to find specific conversations or information. I've never seen a single useful or informative tag applied and crap tags completely muck up the site search.

I agree. We've always been okay, though, with people having a little fun with them. But when people start adding tags that are making specific members uncomfortable, we have to draw a line. The stuff that was showing up there over the last week wasn't the only time anything like that has happened, either. Several times there have been some pretty shitty tags left about women on this forum and we're always having to remove stuff, almost every day. We're tired of dealing with it, to be honest.
