I just want to address a few things. We've been having some problems lately where people are complaining about certain things being posted in the work threads. Some people have been trying to discourage others from posting certain HITs, reporting their earnings, and even mentioning how many HITs they've done. All this does is discourage people from talking about work on a work forum and the end result is that people just end up leaving. It's gotten so bad that we've even had members requesting self-bans because they don't want to come back. All of this needs to stop right now. This is a work forum. it's okay to talk about work here and I don't want to see anyone trying to say otherwise.

Also, does anyone actually do the HITs that get posted on this forum? We ran a poll asking that sometime last year and I seem to recall that quite a few people did. I think we can be better about showing a little appreciation to the people that take time to find HITs for all of us. If you pick something up off the forum, throw that person a like or something. If we can all drop 10+ likes on random red panda pics, then surely we can toss out a like on something that's helping us get paid. I know it seems silly, but it really can make someone feel appreciated for posting something.

I run a panda for probably 35% of the hits posted. No idea how often I catch them. Overall I find them useful even if I'm not catching them. If I've been away for the the first half of the day browsing through the hits posted gives me a useful impression of how the day is going and what to expect.

I throw out Rerun @Rerun levels of likes for posted hits.

You've received a bonus from UofI for work related to 3GL25Y6843P8KCJ9V76N07UIUTQMX4.
The value of your bonus is: $1.50 USD

The Requester included this note:
25 cents each for 6 dozen approved HITs

Sweet had a lot of stuff on their t.o. that they don't pay out their bonuses. This time they did.

I certainly do appreciate all the hits that get posted on the forum and I actually DO them. As I have stated before, I try to turk a bit at work where I cannot download any scripts or use Panda Crazy, so I rely on the forum. I donate every single month and when I am home, I always post hits to give back to others. I do not understand why people would discourage sharing . . . it makes me sad :(

Thank you MTC and hit posters for all you do. I appreciate you all!

I felt this way for a while especially regarding SweetiePuff @SweetiePuff's post/like ratio

If you go back through old MTG threads from like 2-3 years ago, you'll notice several likes on like every posted HIT. Back when I was one of the main HIT posters over there it wasn't uncommon at all to get 10+ likes, and even positive rep (which we thankfully don't have here), for posting a great HIT. I'm not sure when all of that stopped, but it makes me feel like we're being unappreciative.
