There are several that do it as sole income, I mean I technically do but I don't have a whole lot of bills so I'm not a good example.

It takes a lot of knowledge, hard work, and dumb luck to get to that point. It is possible.

Yea, I think that working on mturk beats working a typical minimum wage or slightly better job only because you are your own boss. There's also day's and weeks where I have seen some people bringing in good money.

I have a 'real' 40hr/wk job. I'm a Nurse Case Mgr and work from home.

$4500 in 45days is only $100/day. There are many on the forum: given the time they invested to learn, their various quals, their computer setup, etc (there are more variables) that easily meet that goal.

There are more than a few people here who clear $100 a day. it takes work and control but it is very doable.

Lot's of self discipline and entrepreneurship skills as well. I admire those that make a living on here. I see mturk as a good stepping stone to use for 2-3 years (or more years if you have to) while you figure out what you are going to do or are going to school, coming up with a business plan, etc etc.
