Interesting, I did a search for it on reddit and people are suggesting putting butter in coffee, bacon wrapped burgers with cheese, and cooking in lard? Are they joking? Seems very unhealthy. That's a lot of cholesterol, saturated fat, and trans fat. I'm going to look into a more serious forum that goes into more detail or perhaps a book on it.

I feel like I'm being trolled (not by you guys) :(.

If you need supplements than it's not natural though right? I try to eat a natural diet. I'm going to look into this more later on.
you could use epsom salt body wash if you dont want to take vitamins. it would be hard to get the daily recommended amounts of magnesium with just meat/veg though.

Yea but I don't want to lose weight, just want to get by with less sleep (maybe 4 hours a night instead of 6-7). I'm 5 foot 11 and in the 170 range. Someone told me that yoga would help reduce my need for sleep but I'm not sure how true it is.
I've been doing yoga for a while and I'm still tired after 8 hours of sleep... :sleep:

it can for children, probably adults. i dont have epilepsy so i dont follow that aspect of it.
in the 1920s, it was developed for epilepsy treatment.
and before that, for diabetes.
has been used for, I think the efficacy is a little exaggerated

I think its a huge load of BS to be honest, it's easier to find seizure triggers than to assume a diet will treat it.

but then again, I'm just going off of a small 'sample' size including my sister who has severe epilepsy and people I know from a couple different special needs programs in the area.

My husband does all those things, and puts peanut butter on hamburgers....

did you look at r/ketorecipes? i follow the sub and don't follow a keto diet but have gotten some good recipes from there

i'm sorry it didn't work to reduce the number of seizures for them, but like i said, i don't follow that aspect of it so i don't know much.
i moderate a large FB community for keto and i see firsthand how many lives have been changed.
i'm not here to tell anyone to do it. its hard and sometimes it really sucks.
but if it will help me not take medication everyday, then i am all for it.
